Umar has been actively involved in the Pharmaceutical Industry for over 15 years with experience spanning Strategy, Sales & Marketing and R&D.
After completing his Education (BS ChemE, Cornell & PhD ChemE, UC Berkeley), he advised a number of Pharma Brands on their MD Engagement Strategy as a consultant at ZS Associates for over 5 years. After seeing Pharma’s challenges in engaging physicians firsthand as a consultant, he left ZS in early 2015 to start up Navinata Health.
In his free time, Umar enjoys basketball and all things Spurs.
Mariam has been passionate about Innovation & spurring Collaboration throughout her various Sales & Marketing roles over the past 12+ years at Dow Chemical and Hess.
After receiving a dual degree in ChemE & Math (Univ Western Ontario), Mariam spent a number of years as an internal Change Management & Collaboration consultant following the Dow-Rohm & Haas merger. Her most recent experience at Hess involved helping to accelerate the growth of their Energy Marketing division followed by supporting the launch of an innovative new Energy sub-division within Hess.
In her free time Mariam enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
